Child Safety Statement
Last updated: 6 November 2026
1. Our commitment
Career Calling Schools is used by children and young people. We are committed to their safety and wellbeing, and we design the site so that young people can explore careers without creating an account or sharing personal information.
2. How the site protects young people
There are no student accounts, profiles, messaging or public posts.
We ask for a first name and an email address only when a student asks us to email their saved results, and we do not save them.
There are no advertising, analytics or tracking scripts.
Forms that collect contact details, such as school visit requests and the newsletter, are for adults.
3. School visits and webinars
School visits and webinars are arranged with the school, and school staff are expected to be present. Anyone from our team who works with students must hold the checks required in that state or territory, such as a Working with Children Check.
4. Links to other Career Calling services
Some pages link to other Career Calling services, such as mentoring, volunteering and placements. Each has its own safeguards for people under 18, set out on that service's own pages, and usually involves a parent or carer and the school.
5. Raising a concern
If you are worried about the safety of a child or young person in connection with our services, contact us straight away. In an emergency, call 000. Young people can also call Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800 at any time.
