About the planner
Where do my answers go?
Your answers stay in your browser until you choose to save your results. Saving creates a private link with your answers and the fields that matched. It does not include your name.
What happens if I ask for an email?
We send the link to the email address you give and do not save the address. We do not add you to any mailing list. Links that are not opened for 12 months are deleted.
Why are there no university course names?
University courses, entry requirements and ATARs change and differ between universities. We describe the kinds of degrees in each field so you can research the current options yourself.
Why does a qualification have a code?
Every nationally recognised qualification has a code, such as the one shown on each card. The code links to its official page on training.gov.au.
What does "Online course for adults (18+)" mean?
Some qualifications link to an online course with CAQA RTO 45459 on Career Calling Courses. CAQA is part of CAQA Groups, the same group as Career Calling. These courses are for adults aged 18 and over, so they are not a way to study while at school. If you are at school, ask your careers adviser about VET at school and school-based apprenticeships. Many other training organisations deliver the same qualifications.
